GOMO Guidance on the Carriage of Methanol in Bulk Onboard Offshore Vessels
GOMO is pleased to announce that guidance from the OCIMF Information Paper ‘The Carriage of Methanol in Bulk Onboard Offshore Vessels’ has now been incorporated into GOMO | Guidelines for Offshore Marine Operations, Appendix 10-E.
The inclusion of this guidance within GOMO provides industry stakeholders with a single, accessible reference point for operational good practices relating to the carriage of methanol in bulk onboard offshore vessels. This supports GOMO’s ongoing commitment to maintaining relevant, practical, and internationally recognised guidance for offshore marine operations.
Following incorporation into GOMO, OCIMF will withdraw The Carriage of Methanol in Bulk Onboard Offshore Vessels from its publication library and direct users to GOMO as the primary source for this guidance.
This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to improving consistency across industry guidance, reducing duplication of publications, and supporting the continued development and dissemination of offshore operational best practices worldwide.
